Abstract: Iyadoo laga ambaqaadayo hawlaha samafaleed ee laga qabtay Afrikada Bari, maqaalkani wuxuu ka hadlayaa dibudhaca xagga bulshada & siyaasadda degaannadaas: qoruhu wuxuu isu barbardhigaa arrimaha Suudaan iyo Somaliland.
A partire da esempi di opere umanitarie in Africa orientale, l'articolo affronta le relative ricadute nel contesto socio-politico locale: l'autore mette a confronto il caso sudanese e quello del Somaliland.
Using examples of charity works in East Africa, this article demonstrates the specificity of the global phenomenon of “discharge” in the socio-political and historical context. While charitable practices contribute to the consolidation of the state in the Sudan, they undermine the construction of state infrastructures in Somaliland.
