La loro lingua rappresenta un dialetto del somalo e i materiali (testi originali, traduzioni e vocabolario) derivano dal lavoro del famoso etnografo e arabista W. Hein, che li ha raccolti durante i suoi viaggi nell’Arabia del Sud, in Aden e Schech-Osman.it_IT
dc.description.abstractThe Jabarti have settled in the entire coast area around the horn of East Africa from Ras Hafun till the equator. They can be divided into two stems: the Digil and the Hawiye. Their language constitutes a dialect of Somali and the materials (including original texts, their translations and a vocabulary) stem from the famous ethnograph and Arabist W. Hein, who collected them during his trip to South Arabia in Aden and Schech-Osman.it_IT
