Studies for health planning in rural Somalia: Community perceptions and epidemiological data

Abstract

In this volume, the author explores whether people's perceptions and opinions about health problems and priorities and epidemiological data could support each other in the planning of primary health care programmes. The investigation has been carried out in the two Somali villages of Lama Doonka and Buulalow, 40 kms away from Mogadishu.

In questo volume, l'autore indaga il modo in cui le opinioni e le percezioni delle persone relativamente ai problemi sanitari e le priorità e i dati epidemiologici veri e propri potrebbero concorrere nella realizzazione di programmi di assistenza sanitaria primaria. L'indagine è stata condotta nei due villaggi somali di Lama Doonka e Buulalow, a quaranta chilometri da Mogadiscio.
