Juba River Valley Development Study. Vol. I: Summary Report

Abstract

This report details the results of a study conducted by Technital S.p.A., financed by the European Development Fund and assigned by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Somalia. The report consists of six volumes, the volume I summarizes all the investigations and conclusions which are detailed in the other five volumes together with relevant documentation and explanations. It is divided in the following parts: the Juba Valley; general development outline; proposed projects for the various sectors; the development plan of the valley.

Questa relazione riporta i risultati dello studio condotto da Technital S.p.A., finanziato dallo European Development Fund e commissionato dal Governo della Repubblica Democratica Somala. Il report si compone di sei volumi, il primo riassume le indagini e le conclusioni che sono illustrate in dettaglio negli altri cinque volumi insieme alla rilevante documentazione. Questo volume si articola nelle seguenti sezioni: la valle del Giuba; profilo di sviluppo generale; progetti proposti nei diversi settori; il piano di sviluppo della valle.
