Abstract: The article investigates Rahanweyn forms of sociability which differ from the other Somali clans. This group - living in the inter-riverine area - has developed a combined social system that does not only rely to clanship as regulatory principle: the institution of adoption and village membership act as well, thus constituting an original and inspiring alternative model for all Somalis.
Maqaalku wuxuu baarayaa qaab beeleedka bulshada Raxaweyn oo ka duwan kuwa qabaa'ilka kale ee Soomaaliyeed. Beelahani, oo ku sugan bedka u dhexeeya labada webi, waxay adeegsadaan hab laysku dhafayo dad dhalyawadaag ah iyo dad degaan wadaag ah, oo hal beel noqda. Waa qaab mudan in beelaha kale Soomaaliyeed ay ku daydaan.
