Abstract: The article offers an innovative approach to the political culture and the economy of Somalia, along the lines not of a conventional democracy, as recommended by the international community, but along the ones of a "kritarchy", this is the domain of justice and local judges.

L'articolo offre un approccio innovativo alla cultura politica e all'economia della Somalia, sulla falsariga non di una democrazia convenzionale, come raccomandato dalla comunità internazionale, ma su quello di una "critarchia", il dominio della giustizia e dei giudici locali.
