Abstract: The author deepens the historical process behind the evolution from the small Mogadishu based urban self-help group, the Somali Youth Club, into the nationalist organization, the Somali Youth League, and the commitment to the idea of the Greater Somalia during the two-year period 1946-48.

Qoraagu wuxuu sharxayaa horumarinta iyo raacitaanka ururka xagga figradda Soomaali weyn oo lagu waday in la gaarayo muddo laba sano ah, 1946-48.
L'autore approfondisce il processo storico che ha portato il Somali Youth Club, un piccolo gruppo urbano di auto-aiuto di Mogadiscio, a evolversi nell'organizzazione nazionalista, la Lega dei Giovani Somali, e descrive lo sviluppo e l'aderenza dell'organizzazione all'idea della Grande Somalia nel biennio 1946-48.
