Abstract: The article focuses on khat abuse, a mood-altering substance similar to amphetamines: its diffusion and its social, economic and medical implications. The effects of khat prohibition: an increase in the abuse of other types of drug._-_Maqaalku wuxuu diiradda saarayaa qaadka, oo ah walax u falgala sida anfetamine-ka: faafiddiisi, iyo saamayniisi bulshadeed, dhaqaaleed iyo caafimaadeed. Natiijada reebidda qaadka: waxaa kordhayaa adeegsiga mukhaadaraadka kale._-_L’articolo si concentra sull'abuso di khat, una sostanza psicotropa simile alle anfetamine: sua diffusione e implicazioni sociali, economiche e mediche. Effetti della proibizione del khat: aumento del consumo di altre sostanze stupefacenti.
