L'autore descrive la situazione linguistica in Somalia nel 1952: il somalo come lingua parlata e potenziale elemento unificatore, l'arabo come lingua scritta e la necessità di adottare il somalo come lingua ufficiale del paese.
The author describes the linguistic situation in Somalia in 1952: Somali as spoken language and unifying element, Arabic as written language and the need to adopt Somali as the official language of the country.
