Abstract: | The Jiiddu Language situated in Lower Shabeelle Region of South-west Somalia is considered an 'engendere language'. This thesis comprises a Literature review from 1951 onward and an account of Language development to date; it also gives a trajectory for Jiiddu revitalization efforts. La lingua Jiiddu, lingua parlata nella regione Basso Shabeelle nel sud-est della Somalia è considerata una lingua a rischio di estinsione.
