Abstract

La vicenda dei somali, un popolo che da mille anni combatte e soffre su una terra arida, è qui ripercorsa per intero: questo lavoro mira a contenere ogni indicazione utile a comprendere il "mistero" Somalia, analizzando la storia passata e quella attuale, le caratteristiche geografiche della regione, per concludere poi con la storia economica del paese e le sue risorse.

The history of Somalis, people who have been struggling and suffering for thousand years on a dry land, is here recalled in whole: this work aims to give useful information to understand the "mystery" Somalia, analysing the remote and the contemporary history, the geographical features of the region, concluding the economic history of the country and its resources.
