Food Crisis in the Horn of Africa: Progress Report, July 2011 - July 2012

Abstract

This report describes what Oxfam and its partners have achieved in connection with the massive public appeal for funds launched in the occasion of the 2011 drought across the Horn of Africa, and also looks at what needs to be done in the future. Given the very different country contexts in which Oxfam has been operating, the report is split into three sections summarizing what it has done (directly and through local partners) in Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia.

Questo rapporto descrive i risultati di Oxfam e dei suoi partner in connessione con l'enorme appello pubblico di fondi lanciato in occasione della siccità che ha colpito tutto il Corno d'Africa nel 2011, e analizza anche a ciò che deve essere fatto in futuro. Dati i contesti nazionali molto diversi in cui Oxfam ha operato, il rapporto è diviso in tre sezioni che riassumono ciò che è stato fatto (direttamente da Oxfam e tramite partner locali) in Somalia, Kenya ed Etiopia.
