ENGLISH The collection is edited by Axmed Faarax Cali 'Idaajaa' who drew up the descriptions and comments. Contents: An elderly woman by the name of Hawo Ali Boos narrates the early history of Hobyo Sultanate (Somalia) and the conflict between the Somali Dervish leader Sayid Mohamed Abdille Hassan and one of his rivals (The Majeerteen) in the Mudug region of the country. She was over 100 when she was met at Gellinsoor village (Somalia, 1980). |
