Abstract: On the basis of evidence from Somali, a nominal-tensed language, this paper argues that the grammar of tense in both nominals and clauses can be derived from the same set of syntactic and semantic primitives.

Sulla base dell'evidenza dal somalo, quest'articolo sostiene che la categoria grammaticale del tempo sia nei sintagmi nominali che nelle frasi possa derivare dallo stesso insieme di primitivi sintattici e semantici.
