Abstract

Magacyada soomaaliyeed ee dhirta oo ay soo ururiyeen Hildebrand iyo Leo Hirash waxaa laga soo minguuriyey qoraha liiska Kark Rencsh oo ku sugan Berlin. Dhammaan magacyadaas waxaa dib u eegay una saxay magacyada si qalad ah loo qoray Ibraahim Cabdullaahi (oo ahaa qof uu Reinsch wararka ka helayay).

I nomi Somali delle piante raccolte da Hildebrand and Leo Hirsch sono stati presi dall’autore dalla lista di Kark Rensch a Berlino. I nomi degli animali sono stati presi principalmente dal capitolo “Note sulla fauna selvaggia somala in Swayne, diciassette viaggi nel Somaliland” (Londra 1895). Tutti i nomi sono stati controllati e i vari errori, risultanti da un’errata comprensione dei suoni o da errata trascrizione, sono stati corretti da Ibrahim Abdillah (informante somalo di Reinisch).

The Somali names for plants given to the herbs collected by Hildebrand and Leo Hirsch, have been taken by the author from the list of Karl Rensch in Berlin. The names of animals are taken mostly from the chapter "Notes of the wild fauna of Somaliland in Swayne, Seventeen trips through Somaliland (London 1895). All names were checked and all errors resulting from bad hearing or false transcriptions corrected by Ibrahim Abdillah (Reinisch’s Somali informant).
