Registrazione effettuata da Francesco Giannattasio il 26 dicembre 1984 a Mogadiscio (nella propria abitazione al Liido), con il suonatore di shareero (lira a sei corde) e cantante Aweys Khamiis Cabdalla. Partecipa alla registrazione Aweys Maxamed Waasuge, allora regista del Teatro Nazionale Somalo e, dal 1984 al 1989, collaboratore di Giannattasio alla ricerca sulla musica somala._-_"Shoobo" (woman’s name), modern song in the traditional farmer’s style (in the Middle and Low Scebeli), connected with possession ceremonies (Nuumbi), music by A.Kh. Cabdalla, lyrics from Axmadey Cadbi Gaashaan. Execution: male voice, ‘shareero’ (lyre). Recorded by Francesco Giannattasio on December, 26th 1984 in Mogadishu (at his place in Liido), with the singer and ‘shareero’ player Aweys Khamiis Cabdalla.
